Our Story
Hiiro Group is an agro-industrial conglomerate headquartered in Holeta Industrial Zone, Oromia Region, Ethiopia. Founded on a vision of building world-class food-systems infrastructure in East Africa, we operate across animal feed production, edible oil processing, and agricultural input supply.
The name Hiiro means purpose in Afaan Oromo — and purpose is exactly what drives us. Every bag of feed, every litre of oil, and every delivery we make is part of a longer mission: to help Ethiopian farmers produce more, earn more, and feed more.
We serve smallholder poultry and dairy farmers across the Holeta–Addis Ababa corridor, with delivery zones spanning seven regions. Our products are formulated to Ethiopian nutritional conditions and priced to be accessible to family-scale operations.

Our Business Units
Three integrated operations under one roof
Hiiro Animal Feed
Layer, broiler, and dairy rations produced at our Holeta mill. We supply individual farmers, co-operatives, and commercial integrators across central Oromia.
Hiiro Edible Oil
Cold-pressed noug and multi-seed edible oil, bottled at our Holeta facility. Available wholesale and in consumer 1L and 5L packs for retail distribution.
Hiiro Agro Inputs
Seeds, veterinary products, and smallholder agri-inputs — distributed through our network to farmers in the Holeta–Ambo–Jimma Road corridor.
Where We Are
Our production facility is located in Holeta Industrial Zone, approximately 30km west of Addis Ababa on the Ambo Road. Holeta is Ethiopia's premier agro-industrial hub, home to the national veterinary institute and a growing cluster of food-processing businesses.
