From Holeta to Ethiopia
Our Story
Hiiro Group Animal Feed was founded to solve a problem every livestock producer in Ethiopia knows well: adulterated ingredients, fluctuating quality, and feed sold without verified nutrition. After losing animals in Holeta to inconsistent commercial feeds, we concluded that self-reliance was the only answer. We built our milling operation to produce what we couldn't buy — rations with consistent nutritional density, batch after batch.
We feed our own livestock from the same production lines that supply our customers. When we mill a batch of dairy concentrate or layer feed, our own herd and flock depend on its safety and precision.
This is our first and primary measure of quality.

Our factory is located in Holeta town, Oromia Region, a recognized center of Ethiopian livestock and agricultural research.
Holeta sits within Ethiopia's animal research triangle, making it a natural home for a company like Hiiro, focused on animal feed production and livestock farming.
